Afternoon With Friends

Last Wednesday, Janinne, Roselane and I went to Ayala that afternoon after the activity in school (By the way, shout out to my freshman buddies -- Bianca, Rica, Nica, Alex, Delsey, Pamela-- who are probably never going to read this.) We ate at McDonald's and Jan and I had double cheese burger which according to her was "heaven". Rose had fish fillet? (Pshaw! Others!) Then, Jan drove us to Rosie's house and I spent the afternoon there. ( Too bad Jan couldn't stay)

Once at Roselane and Rexford's house, my biggest thanks for your amazing hospitality by the way, they had this Wii right and we ended up playing most of the afternoon.

At first, I tried tennis. I couldn't quite get the hand of it yet and I kept on losing. (One of my better traits-- I gave up.) I think it was bowling I tried next. I wasn't very good at that either. There was this snowboarding game (Rose was so good on it!) Rex tried this weird game where he had to squat... he lost without even trying! I played boxing too. It was so violent-- I secretly loved it. I totally won! Though it really threw me off that my opponent kind of looked like a animated Jesus. Best part of the day, the hula hoop game! I set the high score! Rex and Rose couldn't stop laughing. I must have looked pretty stupid huh? Rex was literally rolling on the floor laughing.

I had them read my blog too, and Rosie made one of her own (Go check hers out) We went to blogthings and started taking tests and stuff. There was this what color is your brain test and Rex's was orange. (Tsk tsk tsk, I always thought it was green ;) ) We had this how evil are you test and i was at 42%. Rex was at 54%. I'm disappointed Rex, Could it be you're really a saint on the inside?

There was food too! Rose found a sealed picnic can in school and brought it with her! HAHA it was so funny. So we ate it that afternoon. There was also maja blanka (is that how you spell it) and calamansi juice!

After that,Rex walked me to Castle Peak so my dad could pick me up. But Dad took so long that we went back. We ( me, Rex, Rose and Rockford) ended up walking to Ayala. Thanks so much for that by the way.

So yeah, that was probably one of the highlights of my summer.

Cheerio!

First Blog Eh?

I've but a handful of words to say. Also I'm running out of time because it's Jazzie's (my sister) turn to use the computer.

Anyway, moving on. What's been on my mind all day long is obsessions.

Now we all have them (Don't even try to wriggle yourself out of it!) One of mine, for example, is a particular tv show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Gee, i just love it so! Spuffy <3). It's could probably be just a phase. I've gone through quite a lot in my short 15 years of living.

The earliest obsession as far back as i can remember was the band SClub7 (I will not admit to obsessing about childish things such as Barney the Purple Dinosaur. Though I was awfully fond of teletubbies!) Back to the band, I remember my sister and I used to collect their music (it was tapes back then. LOL) We had posters and calendars as well. We used to beg our parents to buy anything affiliated with Sclub. I never missed their show, or failed to see their films. We even danced to their songs during parties (choreography, costumes, the works!) Yep, i was obsessed.

Secondly, I had an anime phase. Now i won't dwell on this because, truth be told, it was a little embarrassing. Let's just say, I learned to speak the language (or I tried), I had a collection of photo's of my favorite ones, the cd's i burned were full of japanese songs, and I would use their catch phrases from the show in a regular life. I even started cursing in japanese at one point (bad, bad idea!) I still read manga today, though I'm no longer a fanatic. Good going Jezah!

There was this emo-punk phase. I loved the music, art, and "emoting" that came with it (I still do.) but it never stuck. It only lasted a few months ( a certain school-year to be precise.) I guess the reason for that is because I got into this phase because a few of my friends were into it. The next school year we weren't classmates and it just faded away i guess. But I won't forget our ever lofty motto: Emo's not gay! Punk's not dead! Emo-Punk for life! ( I guess "for life" was an over statement xD) But I loved the emo-punk phase tremendously.

Right now, my latest "phase" is Anglophilia. It's awesome! I hope this lasts longer than the rest.
Just so you know: Definition: Anglophilia - a strong admiration or enthusiasm for England, its people, and things English'
I'll be spelling things like "favoUrite and coloUr" from now on. I'll be using english slang like peckish and codswallop. Even the regular day terms will be changed, such as mobile and loo. And have i mentioned how alluring the accent is? hot guy + english accent = even hotter.

There were more i believe, but these were the ones that stood out. Now through all of these, theres one phase i hope (rather pray) to never grow out of. And that's being a Jesus Freak. It goes up ad down. I'm strong and I'm weak. But I hold on. I hope to get stronger as the years progress ;)

Hey, I guess I got a little to carried away and this isn't just a handful of words. Oh well!

I wonder if blogging becomes a phase XD

Till Next Time, Cheers!
